THE EUROPEAN POP ORCHESTRA

The European Pop Orchestra is a professional and energetic pop orchestra; consisting of a pop band and a classical orchestra in one. This unique combination allows the vibrant orchestra to play almost any musical genre and bridge the gap between pop and classical.

 

Some highlights from recent years:

• Nine (multiple) platinum CDs/ DVDs and 3 gold

• Played live for more than 1.8 million visitors

• Successful tours in the US, Canada, and China

• Collaborated with many artists, including Lionel Richie, Simply Red, Diana Ross, Andrea Bocelli, Marco Borsato, Anouk, DJ Afro Jack, Caro Emerald, Nick & Simon, Doe Maar, Van Velzen, Jan Smit, Alessandro Safina, Butcher van Kampen, and many others

• Composed and created commercials, for example, McDonald's, Rabobank, WWF (Seastars) and DELA. The DELA commercial "Why wait to say something beautiful" won the prestigious 'Cannes Lion d'Or Grand Prix' prize in Cannes (FR)

• Big TV appearances primetime in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

• Musically responsible for and participatory in the concept 'Symphonica in Rosso'.
